Ancient Tao Australi
The Origin of Ancient Tao Australi
The name "Ancient Tao Australia" originates from the lineage of the Zhou Dynasty's Taoist traditions, transmitted through Taiwan's "Taipei Ancient Tao, Taiwan." This lineage was officially introduced to Australia in 1988, providing services to the local Aussie and Chinese community.
Initiated in 1988, Ancient Tao Australia in Australia is committed to offering diverse services to the Chinese community in Australia. On December 17, 1992 (Thursday), it was formally established in a physical storefront as "Acientic's Tao International Feng Shui Academy Pty Ltd.," located in Hoppers Crossing, metropolitan Melbourne, Victoria. This location was chosen to face and serve the wider populace.
Since its establishment, Ancient Tao Australia in Australia has tirelessly worked to provide high-quality Feng Shui sevice and cultural education for local residents in Australia wide. Its mission is to promote harmonious coexistence between people and nature and, through the wisdom of the Zhou Dynasty, bring positive influences to contemporary society. Ancient Tao Australia in Australia will continue its dedication to promoting the values of this ancient tradition, injecting more positive forces into the development of Australian society.
Logo Design
The logo of the Australian International Ancient Taoist Academy is a creative concept conceived by Master Yang Yen Pai. The initial version was digitally drawn by Mr. Choi Jinzhong( Fredric Choi ), one of the founders of the Confucius Institute at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. After years of use, Master Shi was solemnly hired to further improve it, evolving into the unique design it is today.
This logo consists of six elements, eight directions, and twelve spaces. It includes the eternal movement of electrons, Tai Chi, the Ancient Taoist Hall, the cosmic syllable "OM," the Big Dipper, and the Southern Cross. Each element carries its unique symbolic meaning, contributing to a design with profound depth.
In the composition of the logo, the oscillation of electrons forms the core of boundless Tai Chi, which gives rise to the dual forces, including Yin and Yang. The cosmic syllable "OM," the Big Dipper, and the words "Ancient Taoist Hall" are positioned at the extremes of Yin and Yang, representing the directions of the North and South Poles. This symbolizes the completeness of the universe and the balance between extremes.
